Brenda did a really great job of describing the characters and scenes with the audio of the piece. She gives quirky sound effects that help me easily imagine the scenes. The music is also very important because it changes according to the times in her life. It begins very tropical and soft and changes to a little more upbeat when it gets to her teen years in high school. The way she spoke differently with each character also helped distinguish them even though it was just one voice. Kali definitively had the accent described in her writing while Hai was very timid and soft. Brenda did a great job with the tones that express moods of each character in different scenes as well. The addition of words from her language made the script feel very real like everyday casual conversations.
